About Us
Welcome to Invisionary
Invisionary is a small private studio specializing in the production of digital media. We are actively involved in video editing, compositing, 2D/3D title and graphics animation for commercials, independent film, and the Internet. We are also currently providing web application development services utilizing PHP / MySQL. We use this website as a medium to display our work and to openly discuss our current projects and the industry in general. Invisionary is an artistic collaboration between Joe Jenkins and Alan Aerts.
About Joe:
I am a network engineer during the day, but I freelance as a lighting designer / stage electrician in my spare time. I also do video editing, compositing and some 3D title and graphics animation work in my spare time from my home studio. When opportunity and time permits, I work as a directory of photography / cinematographer on independent film shoots. I have several years experience in stage / theater, film and concert lighting and about twelve years experience with software production tools. I attended Utah State University for technical theater and the Seattle Film Institute for film production and directing. As computers grew more powerful and accessible, I learned film / video and photo editing and eventually got back behind the lens shooting 16/35mm motion picture film and SD/DV video. With the explosion of the Internet and many years experience in computers, I started developing dynamic websites using PHP/MySQL. I currently work full-time as a network engineer, and use up a lot of my free time for the creative work.
About Alan:
Alan hasn’t blessed me with his bio yet, the punk. So, in retaliation, I’ll just say that he and I have been friends for 16 years and from the day we met we were trying to figure out how to irk 3D images out of very slow computer hardware. Since then, he’s gotten heavily involved in shooting and producing video for gymnastics. He also manages a lot of the web compression, titling and motion graphics for video that we do.
